This is one lucky driver.
Somehow he has hit the guardrail at the right of picture and ended up facing the way he came having cleared a concrete culvert opening.
Now this sort of thing happens every day,
but there is a steep drop here...
A long drop in fact ...
Well I bet he needed one !
