A bigger hammer ?

I have been wrestling with my photo program. It has been giving me grief.
I use Picasa, and it has suddenly started sulking and despite installing and reinstalling refuses to work.

I hate learning new stuff, Picasa was easy.
Things might look a bit weird for a while.
