Water Blogging

God it's wet.

The rivers are really high, the ground sodden and waterlogged.

The road is suffering. Potholes are breeding madly. We must have shovelled about 4 tonnes of premix into them today.

The slips we have had so far have been many but minor. If the rain keeps up it's only a matter of time before we get a big one. With my luck it will probably come down at 3 am.

There are the fair share of lunatics out there too. Driving far too fast for the conditions, in their warm plastic and steel cacoons. Quite a few didn't make it over the weekend.
I'm totally unimpressed with my wet weather gear too. It is supposed to be pretty good, but I went through three changes of clothes yesterday.

The world looks a depressing place when you have a wet arse.
